Can anyone supply me with some info on the fate of Halifax DG341?

I have a copy of a log book showing it crashed and burned at Tempsford in 1942 but I cannot match this with the othe Tempsford info I have.

Hi Bob
You might have an error in the log book. Air Britain records that DG341 swung on landing at Croft and the U/C collapsed on 27.6.43. It was with 1664 Conversion Unit

Hi Again
It is not,of course, impossible that it was recovered from an incident at Tempsford in '42 and passed to the HCU

To Bob,

Having gone WR Chorleys 1942 yearbook I came up with nothing. Having read Dicks comments regarding a change of date to 27 June 43, I found the exact details as Dick had mentioned in volume 8, HCU / OTC page 53.
Regards,
John

Thanks all, I have now found it in BCL - it helps if one reads the righthand page as well as the left!

I think the chap may have been in a bit of a bad way when he wrote up a copy of his log - a page that reads "Febuary 1942" is identical to another that reads January 43.

I am told that after some crash he was at home and, for weeks, just sat i front of the fire and said nothing.  I have found an entry, Feb 43, saying that he was sent to hospital.  Sounds like he could have become very muddled, a very sad case.
