Currently I am researching Lancaster ME675, flown by F/Lt J.R.Hill. Underway to target (Oil plant at Wesseling) the aircraft was intercepted by a nightfighter. The aircraft exploded on impact which killed the whole crew.  Not very sure where the aircraft struck the ground Nuenen or Lage Mierde, this is still in research. F/O K.W.Jones, G.W.Witty, T.B.Whewell, D.F.F.Bell, T.A.Hall and F/Sgt G.F.Wood. The crew rest at Eindhoven Woensel General Cemetery(war grave section).  I would like to get in touch with the relatives of the crew and I am in touch with the relatives of F/Lt Johnny "Jack" Hill. Further I still looking after the 49 Sqdn ORB's for this particular crew.

Thanks,

Adrian
