Does anyone know what happened after the war with the limestone caverns that the Germans used to store V1 flying bombs at Nucourt? The site was hit numerous times by Bomber Command, and apparently hundreds of the V1's were buried when the roof collapsed. Was the site ever excavated, or do those bombs remained buried....?
