I am trying to find any reference to an uncle of mine who flew as aircrew on Fairey Battles in the early days of ww2. I am almost positive that he was on the raids on the Maastricht bridges . I only know his name which was Tommy C Lynch and was from Port Talbot in South Wales. After the war he became a teacher and moved to the Bishop's Stortford area and was headmaster of a secondary school there. I have no idea of his rank or I.D number.
