It is only recently that I watched this film all the way to the end....obviously, as the son of a Bomber Command veteran, I was angered by the portrayal of aircrew as dupes of the bloodthirsty Bomber Harris. I am surprised the filmmakers were not sued for libel. I was astonished to see the Yorkshire farmer who kindly showed me around the Tholthorpe airfield in 1982 was in the film. He was giving two ex-aircrew ( Harvey and Brown) a tour, as he had done for me. His name was Geoff as I recall, and I doubt if was happy to be part of that film, if he ever saw it. 

  My question is , does anyone know if Ken Brown or Douglas Harvey ever had anything to say about their involvement with this film after it came out? I would think they would have been rather disappointed to say the least, with the films portrayal of aircrew, Harris and the Bomber Campaign....
