I was wondering if anyone out there ( Moose...? ) might have a copy of the famous Form 700 used by Bomber Command. The ground crew chief would present it to the aircrafts skipper after the Inspections had all been completed and the pilot had taken the craft for a test flight....the pilot would then sign the Form 700 signifying he was satisfied the craft was ready to go.
I have looked on the Web, but no luck finding one. Would the UK Archives perhaps have copies online....?
