In France,a  random  number of medal  rewarded  the  helpers of many airmen.Does someone  know the name of this medal?

Bonjour,

I think French helpers received  an english medal  for their bravoure.I know two old helpers and their medals are english.I want to know  the name.

Je connais le cas de deux médailles anglaises attribuées à deux  Français pour avoir caché des aviateurs de la RAF.C'est le nom de cette distinction anglaise que je cherche.Merci
