From what I can gather Sgt Drongeson was the flight engineer. The Lanc crashed in the Auxerre area.

If you cannot get there yourself there are several people who will photograph the file for a nominal fee. Far cheaper than what TNA will charge.

RCAF crewmember Nickolas Zuk passed away in Winnipeg in 1993. As such his service file can be obtained free of charge.

Hi Becky you might care to email me on mjc41uk@yahoo.co.uk I have the 166 Squadron thread on this site. I am very familiar with your Great Uncle and his crew. I knew John Cann as well in the 1980s. They all evaded capture together. France and accompanied an SAS unit for a time before being brought back to the UK.
