The National Archives of Canada have a 16 mm colour film made in Canada during the war. It is called "Number Eight on Parade". It was filmed at No. 8 Repair Depot, RCAF Station Winnipeg and shows the various organzations repairing aircraft, including aerial views of training aircraft.
No. 8 RD was the premier repair depot in Canada. HQ RCAF sent 8 RD officers to all other RD's in Candad to establish their organization structured after that operated in Winnipeg. And that is why they made the movie film, to show others how No. 8 RD fucntioned.
