My name is Owen Jones and I ended up here while surfing Wikipedia for some historical details about one of my uncles.
His name is also Owen Jones, as we were both named after his father. Although his real first name is Noel, it was never really used.
I do not really know much about his WW2 exploits, but I do know that he flew Lancasters and was awarded the DFC and Bar (x 2, I think). He never talked about it much and now I live in Thailand and he has lived in southern Spain for about 40 years.
I won't try to say any more because, via a circuitous route, I have asked his son and daughter to come along here, but if anyone knows how I could find out more online, I would be pleased to hear from you.
