Hello , im trying to find out about my late father he was born in the liverpool area in october 1922 , i belive he was a rear gunner in a lancaster bomber , he died in 1993 , im trying to find out more about his time in the RAF , if you can help please let me know ,,,thanks

squadron number, training school, or even Lancaster serial number

If you do not know of any further details, you should be able find the relevant information from The National Archives in England.

They can and do supply operational record books (ORB's) online. Just 'google' it to obtain contact details.

PS - Just tell them you are after your fathers ORB's.
