After initially evading for a shot time, these three guys were murdered while staying in a 'safe' house in Tilburg, Holland on July 9, 1944. Thanks to the efforts of Jan van den Driesschen I hope to run an article about how these three bomber boys were killed in the next edition of the Linconshire Lancaster Association's journal, 'Memorial Flight' - problem is, I don't have any pictures of these three unfortunate men... Does anyone out there know where I can get one of each chap? Thanks, Tom
Hi Tom, I've forwarded your request on to the brother of Roy Carter. I'm not at liberty to release his email address but perhaps he might be in touch with you.
Hello Bill, Many thanks for that - I will watch out for any replies. Could also use a picture of one of the aircraft from Roy's unit if anybody has one... Regards, Tom
Hi Tom, I tried to attach a couple of pictures but for some reason or other they wouldn't take, if you send me your email address I'll send them as an attachment to an email that should work better. Bill
Hello Bill, Thanks for getting back to me so soon. my e-mail address is tomdotallettatbtinternetdotcom Obviously, replace the two 'dots' with a . and the 'at' with an @ regards, Tom
Thanks for that. Fred Carter has made contact now and kindly supplied a picture of his brother. I think I also have one of Jack Nott on the way, but am still struggling for one of Roy Walker though.
Might you be able to try again with the two pictures you mentioned William?
Thanks to Bill Heron, I was able to get in touch with Tom and send him pictures of my brother Roy. Thanks also to Matt for all of his work and time regarding this forum. It means a lot to those of us related to, or associated with, allied airmen from WW 2.
