Hi all,

Just wanted to let you know that bombercrew.com is now ranked first by google when using the search words "bomber crews".

Pretty cool, we've come a long way!

Thanks
Matt

Hello

I am new to this website as I have not come across it before and have now found my way to it via google.

It's a really good website and it is very nice to read people's stories of uncles/grandparents/parents etc.

I am very lucky in that I am very close to my Granddad who was in squadron 405 and I am able to listen to his stories which I always love to hear time after time!

I am in the process of encouraging him to write an autobiography so that his stories will never be forgotten. He has already had one book published - The Valley of the Shadow of Death, Bomber Command Campaign, March-July 1943 and he is busy writing his second.

Keep up the good work.

Natasha

Matt

It's not possible to get a new copy of his book anymore, however I believe there are old and used copies that are available through amazon, for much over the original price though!

Great work on your site, congratulations on the super delivery.

I came across it from doing searches about my father in 405 RCAF squadron. He was a WO1 (AEM) stationed at Gransden Lodge 1943-45.
