Does anyone have or know where I can obtain a photograph on any Lancaster/any Sqdn. that was taken while on the ground during winter, preferably showing snow on the ground. The photograph MUST be copyright free (in the public domain).
Thanks for your help
Bill.

Some years ago I was invited to Waddington to meet a RAF historian as I had a number of photographs of my fathers time with 463 Squadron during 1944/45 that he was interested in. He copied various photographs and in return gave me a photograph of a Lancaster my father flew in. The photo shows JO-F on the runway during the winter of 1944. You can view this photo on www.raf-bombercommand.co.uk under the photographs section. If it is of any use to you you may take a copy.
Regards Andy
PS I have many 463/467 photographs on disc I will trawl through them and see if there is any of interest to you.
This enough snow for you Bill? There is no copyright on this photo - I have the whole Waddington wartime albums on cd courtesy of Sqdn Ldr Bonner who gave me carte blanche to use any of the photos, simply asking for an acknowledgement of "The Waddington Collection" when used. Hope this helps, I have others!! Regards Max
