Looking for any details on the above from 1939 to 1943 when he took command of No.218(Gold Coast) Squadron from the experienced and popular Aussie W/Cdr Don Saville DFC ( FTR Hamburg 24th July 1943 ).
I have all the details on his career from 1936 to 1939 and post war, however W/Cdr Oldburys war-time Log Book was stolen post war. Any details other then awards and promotions very welcome.
