information on my Father

Does anyone have any records or information about my Father who was a pathfinder pilot during WW2. His name was Thomas Alton Dighton.

Hello Peter,

I have five operations flown by Flying Officer T. A. Dighton and crew of 153 squadron. They are;

2/3 Nov 44. Target: Dusseldorf.

4/5 Nov 44. Target: Bochum.

6 Nov 44. Target: Gelsenkirchen.

18/19 Nov 44. Target: Wanne-Eikel.

21/22 Nov 44. Target: Aschaffenburg (Railways)

Thats all I have on file at the moment. I hope it is of some help.

Looks like he was posted to 582 (Pathfinder) Squadron at RAF Little Staughton on Feb.6/45 and I show him on these ops
Mar.3/4 Kamen in PB238 coded 60-G
Mar.5/6 Chimnitz in NE140 coded 60-E
Mar.7/8 Dessau in PB381 coded 60-M
Mar. 11 Essen in ND849, 60-P
Mar.12 Dortmund in PB149, 60-J
Mar. 18/19 Hanau in PB149, 60-J
Mar.22 Dulmen in ND759, 60-E 
Mar.25 Hanover in PB964, 60-Q
Mar.27 Paterborn in PB969, 60-M
Apr.13/14 Kiel in PB936, 60- J
Apr.14/15 Potsdam in PB986, 60-A
Apr.22 Bremen in PB970, 60-C
Apr.25 Wangerooge in PB963, 60-J
He was posted out of the Squadron with his crew June 6,1945. One of the men who served as a navigator for him is one of my friend's father. If you email me at dawallace@sympatico.ca I can give you more details.
