102 SUADRON CASAULTY JULY 1942

Hi,
I am researching a crew member from a halifax from 102 sqn that was destroyed by flak on its return from Hamburg on 27 July 1942. The member is AIR GUNNER/WO Sgt Gwilyn Jones who died in the crash.
Particularly interested in any photographs and the crew ops record prior to the night in question.

Hi Nick,

Halifax W1142 shot down by Helmut Lent II./NJG 2. Crashed in North sea.
