  Do any of our forum members have any information on a Navigator A.T.Knight 1384356-POW (date unknown) was sent to Stalag Luft L1 (Barth Vogelsang) Apparently was refused in the R.A.F. but joined the R.C.A.F. - Sqdn. unknown. Any help would be appreciated crew,date, target, etc.

      That would be F/Sgt A.T. Knight, 405sqdn Halifax JB904, LQ-E,  lost on 04/05/43 on ops to Dortmund, pow number 1143, camps, L1, L6 and L4.

Shot down by nightfighter and crashed at Quendorf,
P/O  J.W. Lennox, RCAF, Pilot kia.
Sgt  A.A.A. Adlam, F/Eng, pow.
Sgt  A.T. Knight, Nav, pow,
P/O  J.J.B. Graham, A/B, pow.
Sgt  F.V. Roberts, W/Op, pow.
Sgt  J.L Prieur, RCAF, A/G, pow.
Sgt  B. Moody, A/G, kia.

Thank you very much Allan. I'm trying to help the Grandson of this airman who had very limited information to start with. I gave him what I had managed to find out but. I was way short on the vital info. Thanks once again Allan your help is much appreciated.

Allan would you happen to have the A/C trades of the crew other than the Nav. who we know was knight?

Hi Bill,
            If you mean his actual RAF service record, he will not get that from the National Archives (ex PRO). But if you mean the 405sqdn Records Book, he will.
