408 squadron , Halifax V11 NP-711 coded EQ-O

I am looking for any information on above aircraft that flew out of Linton on Ouse, Yorkshire, England on 21st February, 1945 on an operation to Worms, S. Germany  and failed to return.  F/Lt. D. Sanderson and his crew were all killed. Crew was as follows
Sgt J Wilson RAF
F/O R. Smith RCAF
F/OW. Gilmore RCAF
P/O W. Wagner RCAF
 P/O N Anderson RCAF
P/O D. Sherman RCAF

     I would appreciate any information re. above aircraft and crew

Chorely's book on Bomber command losses, probably the best reference source for this type of question, only states "Cause of loss and crash-site not established. " The aircraft took off at 17:14 UK time.

No exactly sure what caused their demise, more and likely a Night Fighter attack, but they came down on a side of a hill, 1,000 feet above the town of Leistadt, about 2 kms west of the town.  It came down in a forest, clearing a 500 foot diameter area after a terrific explosion.  An eye witness claimed it was flying in a north west direction, on fire. There was a terrific explosion when it hit the ground and a large fire was started.  Hope this bit of info helps.
