Hi Barnsley,

They are buried at the Rheinsberg cemetery in Germany. Most airemen, 450 graves from Cologne alone were buried there, but also who fought at Dusseldorf, Krefeld, Munchen-Gladbach, Essen, Aachen and Dortmund.

O'Halloran file is on line at the National Australian Archives if you wish to view it, Dowe's file is not on line but for $16.00 (Ausd) you cand get it on line and that will give you his next of kin's last known address. Its a long shot !!

Ronald Arthur Dowe lived in the house that backed onto our side fence. He was a school friend of my mother as well as her next-door neighbour.

His last address was: 7 Ettrick St. Ashbury NSW AUSTRALIA. The house is still standing.

Mother: Edith Gwen DOWE (Nee FEWINGS) Born 1900 Died 1978

Married 1921 to THOMAS DOWE Divorced 18 Oct 1926 Broken Hill NSW.

Married 1931 to Frank J. BUCKLAND 1931 Marrickville NSW AUSTRALIA

Frank died before Edith (Known as GWEN) and she moved from Ashbury around 1956/7.

Had a daughter Joan born late 1920s early 1930s. She married Hilton SMITH and had an adopted son called Ronald.

Am looking for a phot of RON DOWE but have had no luck
