Hi guys trying to find any more info on this subject I have the raid details the crew etc and where it came down plochingen near esslingen outside Stuttgart. References in germany have drawn blank apart from extract in Stuttgart I'm luftkrieg On my deductions it was brought down by m. Ullmahnn

dont know if it help's but the following claim by Uffz Martin Uhlmann can be found in Theo Boiten's Nachjagd War Diaries Vol 2.

 

28-29 July 1944

Uffz. Martin Uhlmann: 4      2./NJG4     4-mot      S.E  Stuttgart:  3.700 m.   

02.14  Stuttgart raid

No definite proof, Theo's work supports my theory Plus the aircraft came down se of stuttgart where the claim was made

It was for Theo that I was seeking the information as he is bring out a second edition in 2015 which will be in three volumes and 1600 pages.
