Came under heavy attack by German Heavy attack shot down and captured by the Germans. They were taken by boat to Frisian Islands. from here they were taken to either Emden or Bremerhaven by ferry. Then by train through Rhur to Frankfurt, and transfered to a main interrogation unit for RAF prisoners. From here, Dick Sewell/ Les Whitton taken to Stalag Luft 111 at Sagan. the others to Lithuania.
