Hi

We are research GD Savage war history, he was one of 5 crew members, who lost his life on 12/13 June 1944, on LL678 Lily Mars.

Can anyone help us with a photo and information of Samual Phillips, J/16550.  He was due to take over this after this misson, but also sadly lost his life.

Can't help with a photograph but J/16550 F/O Samuel (note spelling) Alexander Phillips was the son of Mr and Mrs Alexander Phillips of Ottawa, Ontario. Phillips was 29 years old at the time of death.
