Posted in to 166sqdn with effect from 21st january 45. The ORB records 2 previous op prior to Chemnitz, one on 13th Feb to Dresden, and one on 7th feb to Kleve. However, the Battle Orders in the ORB Appendices, show this crew as operating on the 8th Feb as well, in Lancaster NN770, when the squadron attacked Politz, , but this is not shown in the ORB for that date.
