As I said over on the Short Stirling / Bomber Command Forum, any BC forum that closes down is a great waste for all. 

Apparently, The LAF forum has closed again. Sincerely hope it is only a short hiccup.

I know when I was running the 630 Sqn Homepage Forum, I had collated many crew members logbooks and hundreds of crew / aircraft photos and ORB's on the forum ................ for it to close, without notice. not even to myself.

I'm still smarting / hurting over it. The members contribute so much effort as well as building friendships etc ..............for it all to go, it is a real shame.

We not only continue to operate over Short Stirling / Bomber Command Forum  but we also continue to grow in both membership and information details / records.

I /we ( members ) have know logged hundreds of photos of crews and aircraft, covering all types of BC squadrons and groups. Yes, we do specialise in Short Stirling squadrons but our researchers / record holders ( ORB's ) cover most squadrons and aircraft. even Luftwaffe aircraft,  crew & records.
