Am I right in assuming that 3 Lancaster Finishing School received it's aircraft from the "parent" Group; and if I may ask -at what juncture in the aircraft's active "operational" life would it's transfer to an LFS be made??
I have come to the conclusion.after extensive research that each Bomber Group would via it's Maintenance Units supply the aircraft for its own LFS. Of course-if I am wrong would be glad to hear otherwise.
