This had me baffled for a little while, as when i looked in Chorleys, there was no loss recorded for 76sqdn to Hamburg on this date, but your wifes uncle was clearly buried in Hamburg Cemetery at some point. All cleared up when i looked in my copy of 76sqdn Operations Book. Sgt Kilner survived baling out, to become a pow. If you would like any information on previous ops flown, please let me know. (It annoys me that this forum blocks anyones name that ends in those last four letters of surname)
