thank you for the admittance in this forum, I joined this group to get a bit help in my investigation. I am looking for RAF information of an old family member (my greatuncle). He was in the 300th Squadron, I know his name, birthday, day of death and his RAF Service Number. Here his Informations: http://listakrzystka.pl/en/?p=49900 Maybe anyone of you can tell me where I have to ask to get so many informations as possible of his career in the RAF at the WW2. Ideally witch some photos of him, that would be great. We the family got the information that he was a Lancaster Pilot but in the upper link he was classified as an armourer and know I want to have certainty. He is death and I was not born as he died so I couldnīt ask him that.
In my investigation I scored different organizations and two of them sent me a link with different forms to start a research. Is this the correct way for my investigation or does anyone has a better idea?
Whatever, I need a bit help of you because I am not skilled in this kind of english/british authorities. I got two interesting links and donīt know which kind of documents I have to choose. There are different opportunities, in my mind . Can you help me?
I have been researching the history of 300 (Polish) Bomber Squadron, so I think that I could help you in searching for details of service of Marian Debicki (780316).
