I'm trying to track down my Great Uncle's wartime service.

i recall that he was aircrew and served in the Middle East and Europe as either a mid upper Gunner or radio operator

I have no idea of aircraft type or Squadron's.

His name was 

William 'Bill' Wilkins and he came from Southampton
