The above was navigator on 464 Sqn Mosquito NT138 with his Australian pilot F/O J R C ( Bob) Walton 414530 RAAF when it was shot down by flak on 25/26 July 1944. Both were able to bail out and were hidden by the French people until the area was over run by the US Army in August 1944. Both returned to the UK.
