When a master bomber was broadcasting instructions to the PFF and main force during a raid , were his transmissions received by the pilots of the other aircraft directly, or were they received by each crew's Wireless Operator and relayed to the Skipper via intercom?
The wireless operator patched it through to the entire crew. Here is a quote from a Lancaster pilot about an attack on Le Havre on Sept.8/44.
The bombs had hardly gone when we heard the voice of the Master Bomber declaring that the visibility was too poor to continue the attack and ordering all aircraft to take their bombs home.
I have attached the Instructions for Master Bombers.

Many thanks Dave...as always, you share amazing , original documents. Between you and Pete, I now have a much better understanding of how this system worked.
