Looking for any informative on Geoffrey Arthur Welch (156100) who was KIA whilst serving on 622 Sqdn in Feb 1944. I have established that he served on 218 Sqdn from 23/6/43 - 1/8/43 and then he was posted to 214 Sqdn before arriving on 622 Sqdn in early Feb 1944.

These short periods of time on the Squadrons is unusual, does anyone have any information on any operations he completed or why he was posted out of each Squadron?
