Dear Sir

I ave been undertaking investigations into my family history and I came across information this person who is a cousin to me died on the 27 Feb 1943.  I have read this was just after to squadron was reformed in Jan 1943.  I was wondering if there is any information on how he died, and what were the circumstances.  I can be contacted directly on laggett01@bigpond.com.au

Thanks in advance for any assistance you may be able to provide.

Regards

Lance Aggett

The crew comprised:

Hi,

just to add what Pete has already given you.

There is a probable luftwaffe claim for Wellington BJ961 of 166 Sqn (ref: Nachtjagd War Diaries, by Theo Boiten).

26-27 February 1943:

Oblt. Horst Pause:      1./NJG1        North Sea 40 km. W. Walcheren:      22.35        3.100 m.

Regards,

MikeH
