I just received today Oct.30/07 my return address stickers from the War Amps. Included with it was a leaflet outlining various DVD's and VHS tapes they make available titled "Canada's Military Heritage Series" I'm not sure if anyone has heard of this --- I hadn't. Amongst the offers available is one titled The Boys of Kelvin High it gives the following description of the video. The Boys of Kelvin High pays tribute to the young Canadians who served in Bomber Command, the experiences and accomplishments they had and the difficulties and dangers they faced. It is dedicated to the large number of students from Cliff Chaderton's high school in Winnipeg who were killed while serving with Bomber Command, one of the most dangerous jobs of the war. Cliff Chaderton is CEO of the War Amps and served overseas, he lost his leg at the Battle of the Scheldt. For those that might be interested they put the cost of the DVD or VHS tape at $14.00. I will add, that no one asked me to do this I just thought it might be of interest to some.
Thanks Dave We are now in Palm Springs for the winter and do not yet have wifi direct to our unit. Expect it within the next couple of weeks so until then will have to review my mail once a day. Kind regards Leslie
