Hello,

I've the next information concerning P/O Biver Fernand (Belgian) of 32 SFTS:

Pilot, Killed in a flying accident on the 18 of July 1942 at STONEY BEACH SASKATCHEWAN, first buried at MOOSE-JAW SASKATCHEWAN CEMETRY and transfered to Evere (Belgium) after the war.

I would like to know if anyone can help me to find out which the type of aircraft (Harvard MK II??) and it's serial nr he was flying that day.

Thanks,

Alexander

Hi Alexander
It was Harvard 2727 according to "They Shall Grow Not Old" but they don't specify which version of Harvard.

You have probably already done this but Bill Walker's excellent site has full details on this aircraft which was a Mark II. http://www.ody.ca/~bwalker/RCAF_2700_2749_detailed.html

Hello Dave,

Thank you very much for this interesting link. I didn't know Bill Walker's site. Honestly....it looks like a very interesting site. I'm sure i'll find more info about other crashes on this site!
Greetings from Belgium.

Alexander
