I picked up the plastic Halifax model about 50 tears ago, but I learned the hard way that one does not assemble a plastic model of a plane with a three year old child around the house. Turn one's back and Kaput!

I prefer to make my own: this is my (incomplete) 1/72 scale model of Lancaster ME453 of 467 squadron, the object of my research.  The photo was taken recently as an experiment, hence the strange setting!

Hi Guys, I thought since this topic was about model aircraft herE's one I did a few years ago of a Halifax. I've made a bit of scenery around it and put a few miniature overhead lights and then got the really small ones and tinted them blue and mounted them into the base that the model sits on quite a nice effect a night.
