Please can anyone give me any information on Sgt Jack Samuels(41285) during his time spent at Leconfield with 466 squadron. He was W/Op on my fathers second tour with 463 squadron and was best man at his wedding in1945.
Hi Andy The 466 Sqn Operations Record Book is available 'on line' at the National Archives of Australia website so if you have rough dates you will be able to search through and find the Ops he flew and who with.
I think you have a number missing from the one you quote. With only 5 that would make him ex RFC in WW1!!
466 Sqn, as you probably know were at Leconfield from Dec 42 to June 44 when they moved back to Driffield where they were formed
