Video of park Dedication to F/O Roy Carter 431 Sqn

Global News covered a park being dedicated to F/O Roy Carter, brother to this forum's Fred Carter. Fred has worked tirelessly over the years to ensure that his brother's sacrifice is not forgotten, his efforts are commendable!

Please join me congratulating Fred for this accomplishment!

Yes-A truly remarkable journey that Fred has done to ensure that Roy and the rest of the crew are remembered.

How wonderful to know that people will think of Roy as they enjoy this park, and that something good has come out of such a terrible loss.

Well done Fred!!!!

Thanks Matt.
I was just about to attempt to post a `wmv` saved version of the TV clip and I discovered it was already posted.
If anyone wants the `wmv` version or slides of the Roy E Carter Park opening please contact me.      mrfjcarter@yahoo.ca

If anyone gets a chance to read the fall issue of Memorial Flight (Lincolnshire Lancaster Association), I have written an article about Roy and his crew ( NA-514,  431 Squadron,RCAF. The spring issue had the first article (Shot in Cold Blood)
More information when my copies arrive from the UK.
