I am researching one of the crew members lost  from 99 Sdn  on this date. John Preston Trewby F/O. According to the notes on the Ripe, Sussex Memorial, he was in Wellington 2911, but I have been told that, according to the casualty list, vol1. for Bomber Command , he was in n2956, being piloted by F/O J.Cooper. Does anyone know which is correct? N2956 was last seen, in trouble, with its wheels down heading for the German coast. Was the wreckage ever found? Thanks for any help you can give.y

My uncle Henry David Whitehouse was in the crew of Wellington N2956 lost 14 December 1939.  This is the crew list to my knowledge

CARR  R. T.  - Leading Aircraftman
COOPER  J. A. N.  - Flying Officer.  He was the pilot
HOOKER  F. G.  - Aircraftman 1st Class
MARTIN  G. E. F.  - Sergeant

WHITEHOUSE H. D.  - Corporal

I have a photo of 4 airmen including my uncle. Contact me and I can send.

Reading old records is very interesting. Of course, those essays that we (students) buy cheap essays cheetahpapers com will not be interesting for anyone to read in a few decades. But something related to history is very interesting to read.

Hi guys, what do you think of best essay writing service uk? I believe that the emergence of such services is an unrealistic stroke of luck for all college and university students. Many of us just start working and do not have the ability to support our studies with our own strength.

Hello

I have been searching for a John Cooper. This JAH Cooper Flying Officer keeps coming up in my searched.
We only have a name, 2 photos and some letters from him to my grandmother from December 1938 - April 1939

The letters were sent from Bassinbourn Airfield, Royston in 1939.
Would you be able to send me this photo and I can compare to what we have and see if its the same man.

Many Thanks]Julia
