He was the son of Harold John Sharp and Ada Sharp (nee Burden) who was the sister of my paternal grandmother Lucy Huntley (nee Burden)married William James Huntley who's son Reginald William Huntley was my father . 22-23 Jun 1943 mission to Mulheim Took off at 23:24 from Leeming. Shot down by a night-fighter (Hptm Heinrich-Franz Wohler, I./NJG1) crashing at Kaathoven (Noord Brabant), near Berlicum, Holland.
