Does anyone have any further info on the status of Peter jackson's proposed remake of "The Dambusters"?
The last I heard was that he had put it on the back burner for now.
Any information would be appreciated...thanks.

Hi,

I have read different articles saying 2010 or 2011, also that Jackson is keen on
filming in 3D.

As Gate1 (Alex) says, it's making slow progress.
I post updates as and when I get them on my blog. The most recent news came from an interview Peter Jackson gave on a NZ TV programme in December:

Thanks for the update, folks - much appreciated.

BTW...it would be great if only one could afford to buy one of those Lancaster models when shooting is all over!smile

Wasn`t the Buffalo Air thing for a documentary recently shown here in the UK?? Very good by the way.

I read that Stephen Fry is supposedly writing the screenplay?

He was asked in 2005/6 so god only knows where they are all at.
