Looking for info: SGT. Ronald Selwyn Moore
Permalink

Hey All;

Looking for Squadron info for Mr. Moore. Found his entry on the Auckland Cenotaph, but they can't give me anymore information than what is posted, as Mr. Moore passed in 2008. I'm not interested in his service files so much as getting into contact with any surviving family, as Mr. Moore was in training with my Great Uncle in Canada. I'm hoping to get pointed in the direction of a Squadron webpage and to gain more information from there. Any help would be great. His service # is NZ404554 if that helps.

Thanks in advance!

Hi,
In the notes at the bottom of the page of the entry, it refers to 267sqdn, so it's highly likely he was with them. They dealt with various types of transporting duties, such as freight, passengers, mail and casualty evacuations etc.
Alan.

Sorry, don't know how I could have over-looked that, thanks for the tip smile

My uncle was Ronald Selwyn Moore and I believe he did his traing in Canada.  His younger sister, my mother, is still alive as are his two children.
