SJ Akhurst RAF

JA Orr RAF

RMJ Champagje RCAF

RA Charland RCAF

WE Palmer RCAF

Has anyone more information about any of these names?

Sqdn? Destination? Servicenumbers?

They are all buried at the Reichswald Forest War Cemetery in Germany.

626 Squadron kite.

You can look them up on the link above. All service numbers listed. The correct spelling is "Champagne" and Palmer's initials are "WF".

Lancaster LM596. 8 man crew. Also killed F/O JC Campbell, RCAF, F/O RC Clouston RCAF, TG Reynolds, RCAF. Orr was awarded the DFC.

Target Duisberg. All Chorley has is T/o 2227 Wickenby. All are buried at Reichwald and that age 38, Sgt Reynolds was well above the age associated with aircrew.

Looks like this is one that wasn't plagiarized into the lostbombers website.

On page 453 of Bill Chorley's 1944 "Bomber Command Losses"

The lostbombers website has many losses not listed. A lot of those listed are spelled incorrectly or have erroneous information. The guy who did the site is dead so it will never be changed. Avoid if possible
