New Member First Post, What Happened?

Hi Folks,

I registered today and started a new topic but it hasn't yet appeared on the forum. The forum front page shows my post as the most recent one but it doesn't appear anywhere. Did I do something wrong?

I see my profile to the left shows 2 posts so my first post must be out there somewhere. Should I redo it?

Hi Bob,

It is very strange, as you say at the side in your profile it shows 5 posts but I can only find 3 which are the ones above.

Try posting again it may be that the post did not submit the first time.

Most of all don't give up as this is a very good and helpful site with lots of friendly members.

Regards,

Gary

I've tried four times now and even tried pasting it into a reply here. That may be the problem all along. I've been pasting the content from a message I sent someone through Facebook. I'll try typing it over as original content in this forum.

Thanks for your encouragement Gary, I'll have to be more careful in the future when I'm cutting and pasting.

I recommend pasting into a blank email or word document and then copying it again and pasting into your post. It will remove the any formatting that exists.
