A C MacLachlan 139 Squadron

I am looking for information regarding A C MachLachlan and the crew of a Bristol Blenhiem N6231 of 139 Squadron that was shot down in October 1939.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Andy,
I think you have mixed up the number of the aircraft it should be N6231.
Got this info for you off Lost Bombers not much but it is a start for you.

Further Information
"Serial Range N6140 - N6242. One of a batch of 100 Bristol Blenheim Mk.1V. N6140-6174; N6176- 6220; N6223-6242. Airborne from Wyton. Area of reconnaissance, cause of loss and crash-site not recorded. The two airmen killed are buried in the Hannover War Cemetery. F/O A.C.MacLachlan PoW Sgt W.Brown KIA AC1 R.V.Britton KIA F/O A.C.MacLachlan was interned in Camps 9AH/L3, PoW No.40.
