A bit of a long shot maybe?

Hi all

Hope you can point me in the right direction?  My father was a Rear Gunner in Lancasters Bombers and his nick name was "9 Life Stewart".  We lived in Scotland and he also worked as a Technical Artist for Rolls Royce.

I'm just trying to trace some history on him as he passed away when I was young and I've just watched "Bomber Boys" with the McGregor brothers (brilliant).

Oops,

Sorry, it would help - duh.

His name was John Dickson Stewart. I'll have a hunt through photographs and see if I can find any that'll help.
