Help please - new to the forum

Can anyone help me with my research into a 218 Sqdn Lancaster Crew which my Uncle belonged to?

His name was Joe 'Mac' Thompson and he flew in 44/5 under Harry Warwick, with Ivor Turley, Joe Naisbitt, Tom Waring, Bill Perry and Alec Stott from Chedburgh. 

I am writing a book about Joe and would dearly love to make contact with any surviving crew or their family members. 

For interest, Joe's letters home from '43 to '47 (when he sadly died at 22) are being serialised in a Blog here....http://saveeverystep.wordpress.com/writing-home-wwii-letters-series/

Hi Helen, The guy you want to contact is Steve Smith (smudgersmith on this forum or contactable thro' http://www.mildenhallregister.stirlingpilot.org.uk/Milden2.htm ) He is the 218 Sqn Historian and I am sure he can help :)
