Gents,

Looking for information and a decent photo of the above. He was an experience bomber pilot having commanded No.623 (Stirling's) and No.90 (Stirling's / Lancaster's) Squadrons. He completed this tour and went on to command No.620 Squadron ( No.38 Group ).

He was born in Toronto, Canada in 1915.

I am especially interested in his career pre September 1943, if any of you chaps have seen this officer's name during your research please drop me a line.

TIA

Steve

620 Sqn Assn might be able to help (per RAF Register of Assns):
Flt Lt A T Gamble RAF (Retd)
31 Fairfields
St Ives
PE27 5QG
Tel 01480-464212

I see you have already contact www.rafcommands.com/forum but you might also try www.rootschat.com/forum and try their military interest section :)

You might also contact the Canadian Service Records Dept though if he was with the RAF rather than RCAF his records would be here. Do you know what his service number was?
Regards
Dee
