 I am trying to get Pictures of this Sgt L P Fallon and his Crew he was the Capt of a Wellington Bomber BJ756 which crashed into the sea at IJSSELMEER, Netherlands 12/13 March 1943 he was Killed don't know what happen to the rest of his crew. This information is for his son who has just found out Sgt LP Fallon was his farther. His name is Robert Fraser-Fallon who lives in the same city as me Inverness Scotland.  Could you please Help if you have seen a Picture of his Father and his Crew. Thank you.

Hi,

the following is from W.R Chorley's BCL : 1943

 

12/13 Mar 1943

115 Sqn       Wellington III  BJ756 KO Q          Op: Essen 

T/o 2007 East Wretham.  Shot down by a night fighter (Lt Oskar Kostler, IV./ NJG1) and came down 2135  in the IJsselmeer.  Sgt Moffat RCAF is buried in Amersfoort (Oud Leusden) General Cemetery, the rest of the crew have no known graves. This was the last Wellington reported missing from 115 Squadron. Since delivery to 75 Squadron on 15 September 1942, and its transfer to 115 Squadron on 24 November, it had amassed 131.20 flying hours

Sgt W E Akrill        killed

Sgt L G Collings     killed

Sgt C J J Lamb       killed

Sgt C MacK Moffat  RCAF    killed
