Dear Bombercrew Forum,

My name is James Matthews and I am a third generation figurative sculptor.  My grandfather was the start of this sculptural lineage and he also served in Bomber Command, flying 62 missions as a wireless operator and gunner.

He has inspired my latest project which is to sculpt the portraits of veterans to make up a full bomber crew, an Erk and a Waaf, to be part of a travelling exhibition around the UK.
